Traders and the Coldstream 1815 Regiment of Foot Guards, French soldiers and other re-enactment characters will be based on the Meadows along with free entertainment, Punch & Judy and a traditional fun-fair.

  • PUNCH & JUDY SHOWS
    11am, 12.45pm and 2.30pm

  • THE GALLOPING ACROBATICS SHOWS
    11.30am and 3pm

  • MEET THE HIGHWAYMAN
    12.15pm
    Stamford, a jewel of the Great North Road offered rich pickings for the ‘Knights of the High Toby’, the foot pads, cut purses and highwaymen who relieve travellers of their valuables. Come and hear the tales of a ‘Gentleman Highwayman.’

  • CHILDREN’S DRILL TRAINING WITH COLDSTREAM 1815 FOOT GUARDS
    1.15pm
    Followed by a skirmish with those dreaded Frenchies!

  • DANCE DEMO - REGENCY RE-JIGGED
    2pm
    Enjoy costumed dancers performing period steps for your delectation and delight.

All the above take place on the performance area on the Meadows.
